Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. Provide accurate and timely financial information to management for decision-making purposes.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to identify areas of concern or improvement.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Monitor cash flow to optimize liquidity and working capital management.
Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess company performance, identify trends, and forecast future financial outcomes. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements. Coordinate with external tax advisors to prepare and submit accurate tax returns in a timely manner.
Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies. Regularly review and update control procedures to mitigate financial risks.
Audit Management: Coordinate annual financial audits with external auditors. Prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor inquiries, and ensure timely completion of audit procedures.
Financial Systems Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software systems. Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
