Factory Manager

The Organic Meat Company is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee and optimize the daily operations of our production facility. This role involves managing a team of 15 persons to ensure that manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and meet both quality and production targets. The Factory Manager will lead the development and execution of production planning and control activities, apply supply chain management principles, and continuously improve operational procedures to drive productivity and maintain high standards of safety. The Factory Manager coordinates with various departments to ensure material availability and production scheduling align with business goals. This position requires an individual with at least eight years of experience in factory management or a comparable role, exceptional team leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows. The manager will foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, and adherence to safety protocols to support the companys commitment to delivering premium organic meat products.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of 15 production staff, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure high performance and collaboration.
Develop and implement comprehensive production plans and schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
Oversee supply chain activities, including material requirements planning and inventory control, to maintain seamless production flow.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process enhancements.
Coordinate with quality assurance teams to uphold product quality standards and resolve any production issues swiftly.
Manage production planning and control (PPC) efforts to balance workload and minimize downtime across manufacturing processes.
Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and collaborate with maintenance teams to prevent unexpected breakdowns and ensure operational reliability.
Prepare and present regular performance reports on production efficiency, safety metrics, and team productivity to senior management.
Facilitate effective communication between departments to align production objectives with overall company goals.
Promote employee training and development programs to enhance skills, safety awareness, and adherence to best practices.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase operational efficiency.
