Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Receiving, storing, and issuing materials (ingredients, packaging, etc.) according to established procedures.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records using manual or electronic systems.
- Ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out) and minimizing waste.
- Monitoring stock levels and initiating purchase requisitions when needed.
- Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations.
Store Operations:
- Ensuring the store is organized, clean, and safe, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Managing the layout of the store for efficient access and storage.
- Coordinating with production, quality control, and other departments for material needs.
- Maintaining records of all store-related transactions.
- Supervising and training store staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Quality and Safety:
- Ensuring that all stored materials are handled and stored correctly to maintain quality and prevent spoilage.
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards in all store operations.
- Reporting any damaged or expired materials and initiating appropriate actions.
- Implementing and maintaining FIFO (First In, First Out) system to minimize spoilage.
Reporting:
- Preparing and submitting regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other store-related activities.
- Reporting any discrepancies, damages, or issues to the relevant department.
Other:
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials.
- Ensuring proper documentation for all transactions.
- Participating in inventory audits and other store-related activities.
· Any other task assigned by senior leadership.
