We are looking for a Full Stack Magento Developer to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business and new projects. You will communicate with employees and stakeholders to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.
You will need to possess experience in a leadership position as you will be working as both our technology and business expert directly alongside our group CEO. If you can use technological trends to help us deliver our business solutions, and are also an excellent communicator, we would love to hear from you.
You will be a part of a dynamic and creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing, and launching.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, reusable code with strong emphasis on stability and performance
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Follow industry best practices
- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
- Experience with the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with frontend and backend technologies
- Strong database development skills
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS
- Strong experience designing modular and object-oriented code
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices
Requirements
- A deep and thorough understanding of Magento 2 and it’s architecture with at least 2 years of experience
- A thorough understanding of Magento 2 performance optimisation
- A thorough understanding of Magento 2 module development
- A thorough understanding of the Magento 2 frontend architecture
- A thorough understanding of Magento 2 API design and development
- Any previous experience of integrations between Magento 2 and ERPs and/or other software platforms or services
- PHP (7.2+), JavaScript (Vanilla and frameworks), Node experience. Any other languages are welcome.
- Any relational database experience, such as MySQL
- Understanding of NoSQL
- An good understanding of DevOps
