The Precision Industry seeks a Sim Gaming Lounge Assistant specializing in racing simulation to provide exceptional customer service and maintain gaming equipment in a dynamic gaming environment. This role requires a passion for gaming, proficiency with computers, and the ability to operate and maintain gaming hardware and simulation software. The assistant facilitates a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests by ensuring all simulation equipment is set up correctly and functioning optimally. This position involves working night shifts and demands attention to detail and effective communication skills to support guests and resolve any technical issues promptly.
As a key member of the gaming lounge, the assistant is responsible for ensuring a high level of operational readiness for all racing simulation setups. The role does not involve managing a team but requires proactive coordination with other staff to deliver a seamless gaming experience. Responsibilities include performing routine equipment maintenance, assisting customers with simulation software use, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The successful candidate demonstrates enthusiasm for gaming and can work independently to troubleshoot and resolve any technical problems that arise during operation.
Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare racing simulation equipment and gaming hardware for customers.
- Operate simulation software to ensure all systems run smoothly during gaming sessions.
- Provide attentive and friendly customer service, assisting guests with questions and technical support.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of gaming equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Monitor gaming systems during operation to quickly identify and resolve any technical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized gaming lounge area in compliance with company standards.
- Assist in managing guest flow and scheduling to optimize lounge usage during night shifts.
- Report technical faults and collaborate with technical support teams to resolve persistent equipment problems.
- Help guests understand game controls and simulation settings to enhance their overall experience.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, equipment handling, and customer interaction.
