The StartupLeads is seeking a dedicated Senior WordPress Developer to join our digital marketing agency specializing in Detailing, PPF, Tint & Wrap Shops.

This is a full-time, on-site position for an experienced WordPress developer with 3+ years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will take ownership of our client websites, handling development, maintenance, security, speed, performance, and responsiveness.

As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will also lead a small team of 2 developers, taking responsibility for planning tasks, guiding the team, reviewing their work, troubleshooting technical issues, and making sure projects are delivered properly and on time.

Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites for clients.
Build custom pages, sections, features, and functionality based on project requirements.
Work with Elementor and other WordPress page builders.
Customize WordPress themes and plugins when required.
Develop custom functionality using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress APIs.
Convert designs and layouts into responsive WordPress websites.
Optimize websites for speed, performance, mobile responsiveness, and SEO.
Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress errors, bugs, plugin conflicts, and technical issues.
Manage WordPress updates, backups, migrations, and website recovery when required.
Handle basic hosting, DNS, SSL, database, FTP/SFTP, and server-related tasks.
Maintain website security and manage tools such as Wordfence.
Integrate third-party tools, forms, tracking systems, APIs, and marketing platforms.
Work with the SEO, design, content, and marketing teams to implement website requirements.
Review existing websites and identify technical issues and areas for improvement.
Maintain proper documentation of website access, configurations, plugins, and technical information.
Manage multiple client websites and ensure assigned tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
Requirements
3+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
Strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and customization.
Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong experience with Elementor.
Experience building responsive and mobile-friendly websites.
Good understanding of website speed optimization and Core Web Vitals.
Experience with WordPress security, backups, migrations, and troubleshooting.
Experience with hosting platforms such as Hostinger or similar platforms.
Familiarity with cPanel, DNS, SSL, FTP/SFTP, databases, and basic server management.
Experience with APIs and third-party integrations.
Ability to independently identify technical problems and find practical solutions.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote/agency environment.
Senior-Level Expectations
