The Swifttech is seeking an experienced LATHE Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manual lathe operation with at least five years of hands-on experience. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers and dial indicators to produce high-quality machined components. The LATHE Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring manufacturing accuracy and efficiency while adhering to safety and quality standards. As part of our team, you will operate lathe machines to shape metal parts according to specifications and collaborate with other production staff to meet production goals. This position does not involve team management responsibilities but requires working independently with minimal supervision. The LATHE Operator must be skilled at interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the machining process. Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manual lathe machines to produce precise metal components according to specifications.

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Adjust machine settings and tooling to meet tight tolerances and production deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and safety-compliant work area following company and regulatory standards.
  • Document production activities, including measurements, defects, and machine maintenance logs.
  • Collaborate with quality control and production teams to address any manufacturing issues or quality concerns.
  • Ensure consistent product quality by monitoring machine operations and making necessary corrections promptly.
  • Adhere strictly to occupational health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
