- Assessment of high risk areas and preparation of audit scope, audit programs and leads all cyclical audits in a supervisory role
- Execute and monitor risk and compliance audits
- Ensure effective management of the financial resources of organization and that all operations are within the policies and procedures as laid down by the management and further in compliance with best accounting practices.
- Review and appraise the soundness, adequacy and application of financial and operational controls.
- Take appropriate measures for the prevention of frauds and elimination of conditions inducing fraudulent actions
- Undertake special audit assignments at the directive of the immediate supervisor.
- Prepare reports containing observations, comments and recommendations based on carried out work.
- Assist in knowledge management process by providing accurate, sound and timely professional advice to board and management.
