As an SEO Specialist at The Yard Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in improving our website's search engine visibility, driving organic traffic, and optimizing our online content. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to increase our website's rankings on major search engines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-traffic and relevant keywords that will drive organic traffic to our website.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking structure to improve search engine rankings.
- Collaborate with the content team to develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with SEO goals. Ensure all content is optimized for search engines.
- Identify and address technical issues that may impact search engine rankings, such as site speed, crawlability, and mobile-friendliness.
- Develop and execute a link-building strategy to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites.
- Regularly monitor website traffic, keyword rankings, and SEO performance. Prepare and present detailed reports to management with actionable insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends and perform competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the SEO landscape.
- Stay informed about search engine algorithm updates and adjust SEO strategies accordingly.
- Optimize our online presence for local searches, including managing Google My Business listings and local citations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools, such as SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on results and ROI.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptable and able to keep up with industry changes
