Responsibilities

  • Report to CEO (with dotted line to CTO) and coordinate directly with functional leaders (eg People, Finance, Legal) to ensure the smooth and effective day-to-day operation of the Pakistan subsidiary
  • Work with the CEO to foster and nurture company culture internationally
  • Work with the CEO to develop and nurture a high-performance and goal-oriented work ethic as well as the effective and timely execution of quarterly Objectives & Key Results (OKRs)
  • Coordinate local hiring, on-boarding, performance reviews, compensation reviews, personal development planning, and termination activities where needed
  • Localise and oversee the adherence to company policies, procedures and practices
  • Work with the Finance Director to prepare necessary records and reports for budget planning and tracking expenditures against budget
  • Coordinate accounting and payroll for the Pakistan subsidiary
  • Manage facilities, office supplies and equipment management
  • Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise
  • Represent the interests and needs of Pakistan subsidiary employees and contractors to ensure the company continuously learns and improves as a place of work

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a technology start-up as the standalone HR leader
  • Experience recruiting software development talent
  • Experience facilitating development and execution of OKRs
  • Experience leading the development and implementation of new hire onboarding and talent development programmes
  • Experience leading the development and implementation of performance management programmes
  • Experience coordinating with finance with regards to administering monthly payroll and benefits
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and project management skills
