Responsibilities
- Report to CEO (with dotted line to CTO) and coordinate directly with functional leaders (eg People, Finance, Legal) to ensure the smooth and effective day-to-day operation of the Pakistan subsidiary
- Work with the CEO to foster and nurture company culture internationally
- Work with the CEO to develop and nurture a high-performance and goal-oriented work ethic as well as the effective and timely execution of quarterly Objectives & Key Results (OKRs)
- Coordinate local hiring, on-boarding, performance reviews, compensation reviews, personal development planning, and termination activities where needed
- Localise and oversee the adherence to company policies, procedures and practices
- Work with the Finance Director to prepare necessary records and reports for budget planning and tracking expenditures against budget
- Coordinate accounting and payroll for the Pakistan subsidiary
- Manage facilities, office supplies and equipment management
- Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise
- Represent the interests and needs of Pakistan subsidiary employees and contractors to ensure the company continuously learns and improves as a place of work
Requirements
- Previous experience working within a technology start-up as the standalone HR leader
- Experience recruiting software development talent
- Experience facilitating development and execution of OKRs
- Experience leading the development and implementation of new hire onboarding and talent development programmes
- Experience leading the development and implementation of performance management programmes
- Experience coordinating with finance with regards to administering monthly payroll and benefits
- Exceptional leadership, communication and project management skills
