Three Shelves is seeking a motivated Business Development & Sales Manager with a strong background in B2B sales and business development. We are looking for someone who can take Three Shelves directly to the market, build relationships with business owners and decision-makers, demonstrate the platform and convert qualified opportunities into customers.
The ideal candidate has over three years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, retail technology, enterprise software sales, or similar sectors. This role demands a proactive professional capable of independently generating leads, conducting face-to-face sales meetings, and confidently delivering software demonstrations.
The candidate must be comfortable working autonomously while contributing to the company’s growth by leveraging market research insights and customer relationship management techniques. Responsibilities- Identify and approach potential customers within the pharmacy, FMCG, retail and distribution sectors.
- Build a strong pipeline through your existing network, referrals, field visits, LinkedIn and direct outreach.
- Meet business owners, CEOs, directors, pharmacy owners and operations teams to understand their current challenges.
- Identify problems related to areas such as:
- Inventory visibility and accuracy
- Stock shortages and excess inventory
- Expiry management
- Shrinkage and stock losses
- Warehouse and store operations
- Procurement
- Multi-location management
- POS and sales operations
- Reporting and business visibility
- Introduce Three Shelves as a potential solution to these problems.
- Conduct product demonstrations for prospective customers.
- Tailor the demo and sales conversation around the customer's actual business problems rather than simply showing software features.
- Manage follow-ups after meetings and demonstrations.
- Prepare commercial proposals in coordination with the Three Shelves team.
- Handle customer questions, objections and commercial discussions.
- Build relationships with multiple stakeholders inside an organization.
- Work with the product and implementation teams when technical or operational discussions are required.
- Negotiate and close new customers.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline with clear next steps for every opportunity.
- Provide regular feedback from the market to the product team regarding customer requirements, competitor offerings and industry trends.
- Build long-term relationships with pharmacy groups, retailers, distributors and other industry partners.
