Ticketing Agent

We are looking for a skilled Airline Ticketing Agent Expert with at least two years of experience in the airline or travel industry. In this role, you will assist customers with their travel arrangements by booking flights, managing reservations, and providing outstanding customer service. Your expertise in airline ticketing systems and procedures will be vital to ensuring a seamless and efficient booking experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize airline reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo to book flights, hotels, and other travel-related services.
- Offer expert advice to customers to help them select flights that best fit their preferences, budgets, and itineraries.
- Assist customers with modifying existing bookings, including rebooking flights and changing travel dates.
- Accurately calculate and quote fares, taxes, and additional charges, while staying informed about airline pricing strategies, discounts, and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional manner.
- Resolve customer issues related to flight cancellations, delays, or missed connections by coordinating with airlines and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure customers have all necessary travel documentation, such as visas and passports, and offer guidance on entry and exit requirements for various countries.
- Stay updated on airline policies, regulations, and industry standards to maintain compliance and provide accurate information.
- Process payments securely, including credit card transactions, and issue electronic or paper tickets as required.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services like travel insurance, seat upgrades, or airport transfers to enhance the customer’s travel experience.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, reservations, and payments for reporting and auditing purposes.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Airline Ticketing Agent or in a similar role within the airline or travel industry.
- Proficiency in airline reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of international travel regulations and visa requirements.
- Familiarity with airline pricing structures and fare rules.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service and sales skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
- The role is full-time with a starting salary from Rs30,000 per month.
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Lahore before starting work.
- This position requires working on-site.
