Ticketing Officer

OS Travel & Tours is seeking a dedicated full-time Ticketing Officer to join their team in Islamabad/Rawalpindi. This on-site position focuses on managing both domestic and international air ticketing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling reservations, preparing quotations, conducting fare checks, issuing and modifying tickets, processing refunds, and providing excellent client support. Coordination with airlines and suppliers is also a key aspect of the role. The position offers a morning shift schedule with a competitive salary range and additional performance-based earning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage domestic and international air ticketing processes efficiently.
- Handle reservations, quotations, and fare checks accurately.
- Issue, modify, and cancel airline tickets as required.
- Process ticket refunds in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional client support and respond to inquiries professionally.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with airlines and travel suppliers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and client interactions.
- Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Galileo, Amadeus, or Sabre for ticketing and reservations.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in air ticketing or reservations within the travel industry.
- Proficient knowledge of GDS platforms including Galileo, Amadeus, or Sabre.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and airline representatives effectively.
- Good computer literacy and ability to work with ticketing software and office applications.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in ticket issuance and fare calculations.
- Ability to work on-site during morning shift hours.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Previous experience working in a travel agency or ticketing office is advantageous.
- Candidates who demonstrate a customer-focused approach and problem-solving skills will be preferred.
- Salary range between PKR 35,000 and 45,000, with additional opportunities to earn based on performance.
