Ticketing & Tour Consultant

Gulf Star Services is looking for a seasoned Ticketing & Tour Consultant to join their Karachi-based team on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will bring 5 to 10 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, demonstrating expertise in both domestic and international airline ticketing, hotel reservations, and tour package arrangements. This role requires a professional who excels in customer service, sales, and coordination, capable of managing customized travel itineraries while maintaining strong client relationships. The working schedule is Monday through Saturday, from 9:45 AM to 6:30 PM, offering a competitive salary along with commission and allowances.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage inquiries related to domestic and international flights, including fare quotations, reservations, and ticket issuance.
- Arrange hotel bookings, tour packages, and tailor-made travel itineraries based on client requirements.
- Handle ticket reissuance, flight changes, cancellations, refund requests, and other booking adjustments efficiently.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, travel suppliers, and online booking platforms to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide clients with accurate travel options, pricing details, and professional guidance throughout the booking process.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, manage leads, and convert prospects into confirmed bookings.
- Maintain precise records of bookings, payments, and travel documentation.
- Deliver timely customer support and resolve any booking-related issues with professionalism.

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the travel and tourism sector.
- Strong knowledge of airline ticketing, hotel reservations, and tour package arrangements.
- Proficiency in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Urdu.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service, negotiation, sales, and coordination.
- Competence in MS Office applications and handling travel booking documentation.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple bookings simultaneously, and achieve business targets.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates with hands-on experience in popular GDS platforms will have an advantage. Gulf Star Services offers a competitive salary package ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs100,000 per month, complemented by commission and performance-based incentives. Additional allowances are provided to support employees.
