Job Overview

We are hiring an Assistant Accountant for our Bahawalpur office. This is a full-time, office-based role where you will support senior accountants in UK-based accounting operations and receive structured training in UK accounting systems.

Working Details:

Location: Bahawalpur office (on-site only)
Working hours: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM (Pakistan time)
Salary: PKR 35,000 to 40,000 per month

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1 to 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
Good knowledge of Excel (data handling and basic formulas)
Willingness to learn UK accounting practices (VAT, payroll, bookkeeping, tax support)

Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Support senior accountants in year-end accounts and tax returns
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping entries
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in processing payroll on a monthly basis
- Help prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Work with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
- Provide support on tasks assigned by the London office
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and on time
