We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, a strong understanding of video editing techniques, and the ability to bring creative ideas to life. As a Video Editor, you will work closely with our creative team to produce engaging and compelling video content.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished product that meets the company's visual and storytelling standards.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Trim, cut, and synchronize video clips to create seamless, visually appealing sequences.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance the overall quality of videos.
- Ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the final product.
- Review and edit video scripts for clarity and conciseness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in video editing techniques and tools.
- Manage and organize video files and assets efficiently.
- Collaborate with other team members, including videographers, graphic designers, and producers.
- Meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition.
- Strong knowledge of video codecs, file formats, and export settings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
