We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring the quality of our products and services through thorough testing, analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the overall quality of our software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product specifications and requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Perform thorough regression testing to validate fixes and ensure the stability of the software.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams, providing detailed information for efficient resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues to identify underlying problems and prevent recurrence.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and software testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role, preferably in a software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as PHP, Laravel, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
