We are seeking a skilled and creative Web Developer with expertise in Shopify and WordPress to join our dynamic team. As a Web Developer, you will play a vital role in designing, coding, and modifying websites, from concept to completion, according to our client's specifications. Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with designers and clients to understand project requirements and translate design mockups into fully functional websites using Shopify and WordPress platforms.
2. Develop custom themes, templates, and plugins to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
3. Implement responsive web design principles to ensure seamless user experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
4. Write efficient, clean, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, while adhering to industry best practices.
5. Customize and extend existing themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements and enhance functionality.
6. Integrate third-party APIs and services to incorporate additional features and streamline website operations.
7. Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine optimization (SEO) to enhance online visibility and user engagement.
8. Conduct thorough quality assurance testing to identify and resolve any bugs, compatibility issues, or performance bottlenecks.
9. Stay up to date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
10. Collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
11. Provide technical support and ongoing maintenance for existing websites, promptly addressing any issues or updates as needed.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven work experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing Shopify and WordPress projects.
3. Proficiency in Shopify liquid template language and WordPress PHP coding, with a deep understanding of their respective ecosystems.
4. Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with the ability to write clean, well-structured code.
5. Experience implementing responsive web design techniques and optimizing websites for different devices and screen sizes.
6. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code deployment workflows for efficient collaboration and development.
7. Understanding of SEO principles and best practices to ensure websites are search engine friendly and perform well.
8. Ability to transform design mockups into functional, visually appealing websites while ensuring an exceptional user experience
