Trade International is seeking a dedicated Import/Export Documentation and Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage the complete process of import and export activities, ensuring smooth documentation handling and compliance with international trade regulations. You will coordinate closely with suppliers and buyers, facilitate letters of credit (LC) management, and actively participate in contract negotiations. The ideal candidate brings at least two years of relevant experience, preferably within the paper or paper board industry, and is capable of managing a team of five professionals. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining our strong position in the paper indenting market with offices located in Karachi and Lahore. You will serve as a vital link between our suppliers, customers, and internal departments such as supply chain and logistics. Your responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date trade documentation and closely following up to ensure timely delivery and resolution of issues. Excellent skills in shipping coordination, sales negotiation, and customer relationship management are essential as you drive sales growth by securing new contracts and nurturing ongoing partnerships. Your ability to manage and motivate the team will enhance productivity and operational efficiency across international trade activities.
Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the entire import and export documentation process, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Handle letters of credit (LC) effectively, coordinating with banks and financial institutions to ensure timely processing and payment.
  • Coordinate shipping logistics and monitor shipment status to guarantee timely delivery and resolve any transportation issues.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and buyers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to support sales growth and repeat business.
  • Collaborate closely with the supply chain team to align documentation with inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Lead and supervise a team of five employees, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to achieve departmental goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all trade documents, shipment details, and transaction histories for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Follow up consistently with suppliers and customers regarding order status, documentation completion, and payment processing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, compliance standards, and best practices related to import/export activities in the paper industry.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in documentation and sales workflows to increase operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all contracts and negotiations comply with legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the paper and paper board sector.
