We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Trainee Cost Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and maintaining cost accounting systems, analyzing manufacturing-related financial data, preparing detailed reports, and recommending cost control measures. This position is essential for helping the company optimize its financial performance through accurate cost analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain standard cost accounting systems to ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Prepare and maintain monthly records of invoices.
- Evaluate monthly costing data from the ERP system, collect information from various departments, and compile reports for management review.
- Analyze production costs to identify trends, inefficiencies, and variances.
- Prepare cost reports, profitability analyses, and variance analyses to support decision-making.
- Monitor inventory transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and other departments to support cost analysis and financial planning.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a cost accountant or in a similar financial analysis role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting methods, and financial analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for analytical reporting is highly desirable.
