Trainee Design & Proposal Engineer

As a Trainee Design & Proposal Engineer, you will be involved in designing innovative solutions, preparing technical proposals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements and company objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and commercial pre-sales support to help exceed strategic targets.
- Collaborate effectively with international teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and manage daily departmental activities.
- Enhance sales team effectiveness by supporting global technical teams and developing integrated systems and tools.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Review and analyze Requests for Quotations (RFQs) with respect to technical and commercial requirements. Propose turnkey solutions involving electrical and process automation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OEM ethical standards, and legal requirements in all commercial processes.
- Manage international bids and proposals responsibly, minimizing risks associated with outgoing bids.
- Strategize during the pre-sales cycle to mitigate risks and support smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to track Capex programs and ensure alignment with user specifications.
- Lead the development of detailed Capex and sales plans related to automation solutions and services.
- Guide the team in delivering optimal solutions that meet customer expectations.
- Train new hires and interns on available solutions and market innovations.
- Share knowledge through documentation and training sessions with fellow team members.
- Analyze key accounts, develop market penetration strategies, and implement tactics to increase market share.
- Diagnose and resolve customer issues by providing seamless, value-driven solutions.
- Understand contractual terms and conditions and negotiate effectively with customers.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of AUTOCAD and 3D modeling is preferred.
- Good understanding of Oil and Gas industry standards and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
- Proactive attitude with a strong eagerness to learn.
