INTECH Automation Intelligence is looking for a Trainee Engineer to join its innovative team focused on advancing process automation solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Renewable Energy. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with integrated control systems, SCADA virtualization, wellhead automation, and telecommunication technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in structured training programs on automation, control, and instrumentation systems used in industrial projects.
- Assist senior engineers with installation, testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of automation and control systems.
- Support site surveys, technical assessments, and data collection under supervision.
- Gain practical experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas systems through project assignments and site visits.
- Develop foundational skills in PLC/SCADA programming, testing, and commissioning.
- Assist in control system engineering tasks, including exposure to DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas system implementations.
- Review and interpret engineering documents such as P&IDs, Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Cause & Effect diagrams, control narratives, and control philosophies.
- Coordinate with senior engineers and facilitate communication with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams as needed.
- Support project monitoring activities including schedules, site progress, and technical deliverables.
- Participate in ongoing technical training sessions to enhance knowledge of automation and control technologies.
- Maintain strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and safe working practices at all project and customer sites.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of industrial automation, control systems, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings such as P&IDs and control diagrams is advantageous.
- Basic programming knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop hands-on technical expertise.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced project environment.
- Willingness to travel and work at customer or project sites as required.
- Commitment to HSE and safe working practices.
