Trainee Software Developer

Jonas Premier Construction, a division of Constellation Software Inc., provides a leading cloud-based integrated construction management solution tailored for mid-sized General Contractors, Design Builders, and Land Developers. Jonas Software supports over 8,000 customers across 15 countries and operates offices in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Caribbean.

We are currently seeking Trainee Software Developers to join our R&D team at the Contour Software Lahore resource center. Selected candidates will undergo a 3 to 3.5-month training program designed to develop their skills in enterprise-level application development. Successful interns may be offered full-time positions based on their performance during the training period.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a comprehensive training program focused on software development best practices.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles and software engineering standards in daily tasks.
- Work with .NET technologies and contribute to frontend development using JavaScript and Angular frameworks.
- Utilize relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
- Engage with REST APIs and version control systems such as Git.
- Explore and incorporate emerging technologies including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering in application development.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, meet deadlines, and continuously improve technical skills.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Proficiency in .NET programming and frontend technologies such as JavaScript and AngularJS/Angular.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Git version control.
- Exposure to AI-related technologies including Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices.
