Simpaisa is seeking a Treasury Executive to manage and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly treasury operations and reporting. Key Responsibilities
Bank Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners to ensure smooth banking operations and secure favorable financial services and terms.
Cash Availability: Monitor and manage cash positions to guarantee sufficient liquidity for daily operational needs and uninterrupted business activities.
Remittance Management: Oversee remittance processes, including data handling, reconciliations, and reporting, to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
Merchants Management: Manage, reconcile, and report on merchants’ ledgers, ensuring accuracy and prompt resolution of any discrepancies.
Foreign Exchange Management: Handle foreign exchange data and reporting, track currency movements, and evaluate their impact on the company’s financial standing.
Treasury Assistance: Support the Treasury Manager in coordinating consolidated treasury activities and fulfilling reporting requirements.
Cash Management Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance cash management processes, optimize liquidity utilization, and improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should be ICMA, ACCA, or CA qualified or part-qualified, or hold a Master’s degree in Finance or a related discipline from a recognized university. A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in the financial services sector is essential. Proficiency in cash forecasting and cash management techniques is required, along with demonstrated ability to manage and optimize liquidity effectively.
Strong knowledge of short-term funding strategies, currency risk management, and foreign exchange transactions is necessary.
