Treasury Officer

Meezan Exchange Company Private Limited, a subsidiary of Meezan Bank, is seeking a qualified Treasury Officer to join its team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in treasury operations with a focus on foreign exchange and currency management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing liquidity, assessing risks, and maintaining strong relationships with banks and internal teams to ensure efficient treasury functions. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily treasury operations, including liquidity management and risk assessment activities.
- Monitor foreign exchange rates, market movements, and currency trends to support informed decision-making.
- Oversee foreign currency export shipments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with banks, internal stakeholders, and business teams to facilitate smooth treasury processes.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized institute or university.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Treasury Officer, preferably within an exchange company environment.
- Strong understanding of foreign exchange rates, global financial markets, and currency regulations.
- High level of integrity and commitment to financial security.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.

Preferred Qualifications
- Additional qualification or certification in Islamic Finance is considered an advantage.
