Treasury Officer

ACE Money Transfer is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Officer to assist the Payout Side Operations Lead with daily treasury activities. This role offers a structured learning environment under close supervision, where approvals, decision-making, and bank relationship management remain with the lead. The position provides practical exposure to cash management, treasury controls, banking processes, and payout operations within a fast-paced international payments business. Key Responsibilities

Cash, Liquidity & Funding Support:
- Monitor daily payout-side cash balances, funding needs, liquidity positions, FX deals, and wire settlements.
- Prepare and maintain payout funding trackers for review by the Payout Side Operations Lead.
- Assist in timely funding of payout accounts, adhering to bank and currency cut-off times.
- Track fund allocations to payout partners and flag any pending or insufficient balances.
- Support funding planning for weekends, public holidays, and high-volume periods.

FX Deals, Wires & Settlements:
- Monitor pending FX deals, wire transfers, and settlements, following up with internal teams as directed.
- Identify and promptly report settlement breaks, rejected transactions, data discrepancies, and other exceptions.

Reconciliation & Record-Keeping:
- Prepare payout-side reconciliation files and supporting documentation for lead review and approval.
- Maintain accurate transaction confirmations, bank records, settlement evidence, and related documents.

Reporting:
- Assist in preparing daily updates on payout funding, partner balances, settlement status, and pending items.
- Provide timely inputs for daily cash-flow and payout cash-requirement reports.

Controls, Compliance & Learning:
- Adhere to maker-checker and four-eye control requirements in all assigned tasks.
- Follow approved treasury policies, procedures, controls, and escalation protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of bank balances, payment data, rates, and other treasury information.
- Develop working knowledge of payout operations, bank funding, FX deal support, settlement processes, reconciliations, and reporting tools.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of banking, payments, cash management, or treasury operations is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to handle data and reports accurately.

- Effective time management, especially in meeting deadlines around bank cut-off times.
