Logistic Assistant

Additionally, the Logistic Assistant oversees a team of four, facilitating smooth collaboration and maintaining effective communication with shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and transporters to optimize the distribution process. This position involves preparing detailed logistics and inventory reports for management, assisting in customs bond documentation, and ensuring shipments meet scheduled delivery timelines. Candidates should have a sound understanding of freight forwarding, warehouse management, and order fulfillment processes. Proficiency in MS Excel and strong problem-solving skills are essential for handling the day-to-day operations efficiently. Experience in electronics, trading, distribution, or import/export sectors is preferred to effectively support the companys logistics objectives and handle industry-specific challenges.
Responsibilities

Assist in managing and executing logistics operations and nationwide distribution.
Handle Oracle ERP logistics and inventory transactions with accuracy.
Maintain comprehensive inventory records, ensure stock control, and perform regular reconciliation.
Support customs bond documentation and coordinate shipment processes with relevant authorities.
Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and transporters to facilitate smooth shipping and delivery operations.
Track shipments consistently to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
Prepare and present detailed logistics and inventory reports for management review.
Operate warehouse management systems and inventory control software to optimize stock handling.
Contribute to the order fulfillment process, ensuring accurate and prompt processing.
Lead and supervise a team of four logistics personnel, providing guidance and support to maximize operational efficiency.
Utilize MS Excel proficiently for data analysis, reporting, and inventory management.
Communicate effectively across various departments and external partners to resolve logistical challenges.
Apply problem-solving skills to address and rectify inventory or shipping discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all logistics activities.
