The Manager Pre-Sales provides technical direction and business guidance to the engineering team. The Manager Pre-Sales is responsible for supporting the sales’ team to develop customer relationships. Responsible for all pre-sales support, to help identify opportunities with existing and potential clients and shape those opportunities from a technical point of view. In addition to this role the following duties are also included:

In the role, Manager Pre-Sales Responsibilities Includes;

 Responsible for achieving assigned monthly/quarterly/annual pre-sales targets and customer development for renewable energy products and services in the region.

  • Support the KAMs in the following areas at least:-

-Product/Solution positioning with customers through meetings & presentations

-Proposal Development

-System Sizing

-Recommend optimal and economical solution as per client requirement.

-Pricing and offer preparation

-Reply queries raised by the client

-any other technical support required by KAMs/Sales Team

  • Internal and external engagement and alignment of the tasks necessary to implement strategies.
  • Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage change and effectively pass on the information down the line to concerned teams for smoother execution.
  • Prepare technical proposals and bidding/contract documents and presentation for existing and potential clients
  • Custom clearance and delivery of Goods to client.
  • Plan local marketing & Support Pre-Sales activities.
  • Effectively manage the Pre-Sales process, from initial customer contact through to offer delivery and installation as well as commissioning.
  • Proven ability to build constructive working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Implement innovative ways to improve returns and increase revenue in an offer.
  • Working with sales department on the execution of specific sales strategies.
  • Monitoring and managing the technical pre‐sales environments.
  •  Sites visit for initial survey and subsequent smooth function / implementation of the project.
  •  
  • Weekly/Bi-weekly reports compilation on progress of accounts/projects.
