An incumbent will be performing the following responsibilities but not limited to :
- Planning and coordinating the transportation of products and materials across the country.
- Negotiating contracts with carriers and suppliers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality control standards.
- Providing leadership and direction to a team of logistics professionals.
- Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and making recommendations for changes to logistics processes.
- Planning and coordinating the transportation of products and materials across the country.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and operations, to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to logistics.
- Compliance logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage and coordinate the movement of goods and materials across the country to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain relationships with carriers, vendors, and suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage the logistics budget, forecast expenses, and ensure that expenditures are within budget constraints
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards in the transportation industry.
