Ubuntu/Linux User for AI Data Training

If you can install applications, follow detailed instructions, and complete technical tasks with patience and attention to detail, this opportunity may be a great fit for you. As an AI Data Trainer working remotely, you will support AI data training projects on an hourly basis by performing structured, detail-oriented tasks. Your role will involve installing required applications, recording your actions, and ensuring accuracy throughout the process.

This position requires you to have your own computer running Ubuntu/Linux and the ability to install necessary tools and software independently. While advanced AI knowledge is not required, being tech-savvy, reliable, and able to work carefully and consistently is essential. This is a fully remote contractor role with SME Careers, a fast-growing AI data services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate. SME Careers provides AI training data to many leading AI companies and foundation model labs worldwide. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of AI systems used across various industries and products.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow detailed written guidelines and apply them accurately
- Install and use required applications on an Ubuntu/Linux computer
- Review work carefully to identify and correct mistakes before submission
- Detect inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or technical issues and report them promptly
- Maintain focus and accuracy during repetitive or detailed tasks
- Complete assigned work within the agreed weekly availability
- Communicate clearly with the project team when assistance or clarification is needed
- Contribute to enhancing the quality of AI model training data

Required Qualifications

- Access to a personal computer running Ubuntu/Linux
- Comfortable installing required applications, tools, and project software independently
- Tech-savvy with the ability to follow setup and task instructions without supervision
- Availability for approximately 15 hours per week
- Patient, detail-oriented, and able to maintain concentration on structured tasks
- Ability to follow written instructions carefully and consistently
- Comfortable performing repetitive or structured tasks with accuracy
- Basic computer literacy and confidence using browser-based tools
- Reliable, responsive, and able to meet deadlines consistently
- Open to students and junior applicants
