UI Developer

We are seeking a talented UI Developer to create responsive, visually engaging, and accessible web interfaces. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design, and modern frontend frameworks. This role requires translating UI/UX designs accurately into functional, user-friendly web pages while ensuring consistency and performance across devices and browsers.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop responsive, interactive, and user-friendly web interfaces that work seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Convert Figma/design mockups and prototypes into pixel-perfect, functional web pages.
- Build reusable UI components and frontend templates to streamline development.
- Ensure consistency between UI designs and the final developed applications.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and frontend developers to deliver high-quality interfaces.
- Guarantee cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for all UI components.
- Optimize UI elements for performance and usability.
- Adhere to accessibility standards and web development best practices.
- Maintain consistent styling, including typography, spacing, colors, and UI behaviors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related defects promptly.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold frontend coding standards.
- Support the creation and maintenance of design systems and reusable component libraries.

Required Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
- Proficient in JavaScript and modern frontend/UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Proven experience converting Figma/UI designs into pixel-accurate web interfaces.
- Expertise with CSS techniques including Flexbox, CSS Grid, media queries, and responsive layouts.
- Familiarity with UI/CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or Material UI.
- Strong knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles and strong attention to visual detail.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Experience with TypeScript and React/Next.js frameworks.
- Knowledge of SCSS/SASS or LESS preprocessors.
- Familiarity with component libraries such as Material UI and tools like Storybook.
- Background in developing and maintaining design systems.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards, particularly WCAG guidelines.
- Basic knowledge of REST API integration.
- Skills in frontend performance optimization.
- Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Proficiency in design tools like Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
