UI/UX Designer

This full-time, on-site UI/UX Designer position is based in Islamabad and focuses on crafting intuitive and engaging digital experiences. The role involves translating product requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity visual designs for both web and mobile platforms. The designer will develop interactive prototypes and work closely with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to maintain a consistent and accessible design language across all user touchpoints. Conducting user research, analyzing feedback, and iterating designs to enhance usability and user satisfaction are key components of the role. Additionally, the designer will collaborate with front-end development teams to ensure design feasibility and precise implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate product requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity visual designs for web and mobile interfaces.
- Develop interactive prototypes to test and refine user experience concepts.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to maintain a consistent and accessible design language.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design improvements.
- Analyze user feedback and iterate on designs to enhance overall usability and satisfaction.
- Partner with front-end development teams to ensure pixel-perfect, responsive implementation of designs.
- Present and defend design decisions to diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Required Qualifications

- Strong skills in user experience design, including the ability to create clear user flows and interaction patterns.
- Proficiency in mockups, visual design, and layout, with a solid understanding of typography, color theory, and component-based design systems.
- Experience using prototyping tools and methods to build and test interactive prototypes for web and mobile products.
- Understanding of front-end development concepts and experience collaborating with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Ability to conduct and apply user research and usability testing to guide design decisions.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design choices effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
