Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and commission ultrasound imaging systems following company and OEM standards, ensuring site readiness and compliance with electrical and environmental requirements.
- Perform system testing, calibration, and validation before handing over equipment to customers, securing proper documentation and sign-off.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and signal-related faults, including imaging artefacts and performance issues.
- Troubleshoot probe and transducer problems such as cable faults, element failures, and connector damage, escalating complex cases to OEMs when necessary.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance according to OEM guidelines to maintain system functionality and minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support and training to radiologists, sonographers, and hospital staff, communicating solutions clearly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of all service activities, complaints, and resolutions within company systems, including installation reports and maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and OEMs for installation planning, spare parts procurement, and technical updates.
- Support departmental goals by assisting in preventive maintenance scheduling and other operational tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in servicing ultrasound systems or related medical imaging equipment.
- Strong technical knowledge of ultrasound technology, imaging principles, and electronic systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system and imaging quality issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clinical users and customers.
- Capability to work independently in field environments with minimal supervision.
