Umrah Consultant for Travel Agency

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Umrah Sales Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will assist clients in planning and organizing their Umrah pilgrimage, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. This role demands excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of the Umrah process and its requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to customize packages, manage bookings, and provide ongoing support throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Consultation: Provide detailed consultations to clients about Umrah packages, including itinerary planning, accommodation options, transportation, and additional services.
- Booking Management: Coordinate and oversee all bookings related to flights, hotels, transportation, and other essential services for the pilgrimage.
- Documentation Assistance: Help clients prepare and submit necessary documents such as visas, passports, and other travel paperwork.
- Customer Support: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding clients throughout the entire Umrah process.
- Package Customisation: Tailor Umrah packages to suit the specific needs and preferences of individual clients or groups.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain strong working relationships with airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and other relevant vendors.
- Compliance: Ensure all arrangements comply with regulations and guidelines set by authorities and religious institutions.
- Marketing and Promotion: Support the promotion of Umrah packages through social media, online platforms, and community outreach initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: Proven experience as a travel agent, preferably with a focus on Umrah or Hajj services.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the Umrah pilgrimage process, including visa requirements, travel logistics, and religious practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Customer Service: Strong orientation towards customer service, with the ability to handle client inquiries and concerns professionally and empathetically.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Technology Proficiency: Skilled in using travel booking software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant technology tools.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Respectful and understanding of Islamic practices and cultural nuances when interacting with clients.
