We are offering an intensive, project-driven Undergraduate Summer Internship Program within our Learning & Development Track. This unpaid internship, running for 8 to 12 weeks during Summer 2026, is designed for ambitious undergraduate students eager to bridge the gap between academic theory and production-grade engineering. The program is remote or hybrid with flexible, part-time hours focused on hands-on, project-based learning. Interns will engage in meaningful technical work, including system architecture and coding, rather than routine tasks, gaining real-world experience with modern technology stacks at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and contribute to internal simulation projects across high-growth sectors such as PropTech (Property Technology), AdTech (Advertising Technology), and DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) applications.
- Work on full-stack web development, mastering backend MVC architecture, RESTful API design, and asynchronous task queues using Laravel.
- Build interactive, reactive frontends with Vue.js, Nuxt (for server-side rendering), and Quasar Framework to create cross-platform desktop and mobile applications.
- Translate complex business requirements into intuitive user experiences by wireframing, prototyping, and designing component-driven interfaces aligned with frontend libraries like Quasar and Tailwind.
- Explore industrial IoT and network prototyping, including hardware-to-software integration, local data processing, device communication protocols, and monitoring systems using microcontrollers or single-board computers.
- Participate in agile development workflows enhanced by AI-assisted collaborative tools to accelerate software delivery.
- Gain exposure to client-side AI engineering by working with browser-based AI libraries such as Transformers.js for tasks like processing, summarization, and optimization.
- Receive dedicated mentorship from experienced technical leads and product architects with a proven track record of launching software agencies and digital products.
- Deliver a portfolio-grade project featuring clean, self-owned source code that can be showcased to future employers.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical/design fields.
- Basic familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as PHP or JavaScript, as well as HTML/CSS or foundational hardware concepts. While expertise is not expected, a strong passion for building and learning is essential.
- A self-starter mindset with an interest in open-source technologies, self-hosting, and understanding the underlying mechanics of software rather than relying on copy-pasting code.
- Problem-solving orientation with a focus on understanding user needs and market validation rather than coding for its own sake.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Flexible scheduling designed to accommodate academic commitments, allowing interns to balance university responsibilities with the program.
- Formal Certificate of Completion awarded upon successful conclusion of the internship.
- Detailed Letters of Recommendation provided based on individual performance and project delivery.
- Opportunity to work closely with industry professionals and gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge technologies and development methodologies.
- Exposure to real-world software development environments and collaborative AI-assisted workflows, enhancing both technical and professional skills.
This program is ideal for motivated students seeking a rigorous and immersive learning experience that goes beyond traditional internships, emphasizing mentorship, skill acquisition, and the creation of tangible, high-quality projects.
