Underwriting Officer

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and register insurance proposals accurately and efficiently.
- Perform data entry and manage information within the company’s core systems.
- Coordinate underwriting workflows and manage case progress to ensure timely processing.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with various internal departments.
- Support Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and other compliance-related activities.
- Prepare and produce policy documents in accordance with company standards.
- Dispatch policy documents promptly to customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee policy issuance and provide support for post-decision activities.
- Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports and conduct record reconciliation to maintain data integrity.
- Participate in teamwork and provide backup support to colleagues as needed to ensure smooth operations.
