The bank is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the strategy, development, and growth of its Islamic deposit portfolio. This role focuses on delivering Shariah-compliant products with compelling digital customer experiences, ensuring competitive offerings, sustainable profitability, and full compliance with Shariah and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategic roadmap for Islamic Deposit Products.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of Islamic savings, current, and term deposit products.
- Drive deposit mobilization, customer acquisition, activation, and retention through digital channels.
- Design and continuously improve end-to-end digital customer journeys, covering account opening, onboarding, funding, savings, deposit placement, profit/return communication, maturity, and withdrawal processes.
- Identify and remove friction points within digital journeys to enhance conversion rates, customer activation, overall experience, and deposit balances.
- Develop and oversee Shariah-compliant pricing, profit rates, and product economics in collaboration with Treasury/ALM, Finance, and Shariah Compliance teams.
- Utilize customer and portfolio analytics to uncover growth opportunities and optimize product offerings.
- Collaborate closely with Technology, Digital, UX/UI, Marketing, Shariah, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure seamless delivery of digital products and customer journeys.
- Ensure all products and processes adhere strictly to Shariah principles, State Bank of Pakistan regulations, and internal policies.
- Monitor portfolio performance, profitability, customer behavior, and competitive positioning regularly.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Islamic Deposit Products team to achieve departmental goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 8 to 12+ years of experience in Islamic banking, deposit products, liability management, digital banking, or product management.
- Deep understanding of Islamic deposit structures, Shariah principles, product pricing, and digital banking customer journeys.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, product management expertise, and stakeholder management capabilities.
