Unit Head

The Bank of Punjab (BOP) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join their team as a Unit Head – Credit Card Reconciliation based in Lahore. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage the entire credit card reconciliation process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Coordinate with various internal departments and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and issues related to credit card transactions.
- Develop and implement effective reconciliation procedures and controls to minimize errors and financial risks.
- Monitor daily transaction reports and investigate any irregularities or inconsistencies.
- Prepare detailed reconciliation reports and present findings to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Lead and mentor the reconciliation team, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
- Collaborate with the IT department to optimize reconciliation systems and tools.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes affecting credit card operations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in credit card reconciliation or related financial operations within the banking sector.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and reconciliation tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing teams.
