About the Role

We Are Real is a 360° real estate and property development design agency specializing in emotional brand communication, premium project marketing, websites, social media content, and digital campaigns for real estate developers.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a reliable Freelance Video Cutter / Reel Editor to support our creative team remotely. In this role, you will transform authentic raw footage, project materials, AI-generated concepts, templates, and brand assets into engaging short-form videos, reels, image-based videos, and ad creatives that inspire audiences to stop, feel, engage, and act.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, rhythm, atmosphere, and modern social content—someone who does not simply edit clips but understands how to create emotion, energy, and momentum through video.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
• Create emotional image videos for real estate projects, websites, landing pages, and marketing campaigns.
• Produce video advertisements and campaign creatives based on clear briefs and established brand guidelines.
• Transform raw footage, construction-site content, architectural visuals, interviews, drone footage, renderings, and lifestyle content into compelling visual stories.
• Work with templates, AI tools, stock footage, video assets, text overlays, subtitles, music, and motion graphics.
• Develop creative concepts for reels, hooks, transitions, storytelling angles, and emotional video narratives.
• Collaborate closely with the Design Team, Project Manager, and Social Media Manager.
• Translate strategic marketing briefs into videos that support branding, lead generation, sales, and project communication.
• Create platform-specific adaptations in formats including 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, and 16:9.
• Add captions, subtitles, typography, animations, sound design, music, and pacing enhancements where needed.
• Leverage AI tools to generate ideas, improve workflows, structure content, and strengthen creative concepts.
• Implement feedback from internal review rounds professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain organized project files, version control, and structured folder management.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Proven experience in video editing, reel editing, social media content creation, or digital video production.
• Strong sense of storytelling, rhythm, pacing, emotion, music, and visual atmosphere.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • After Effects
  • CapCut
  • Final Cut Pro
  • DaVinci Resolve
  • Or similar tools
• Ability to create videos that feel premium, modern, emotional, and performance-driven.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, attention-grabbing hooks, engagement strategies, and call-to-action structures.
• Strong eye for design, typography, composition, and brand consistency.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Reliable availability with meaningful overlap with German working hours (CET/CEST).
• Independent, organized, and deadline-driven working style.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and creative direction consistently.
• A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video editing work is required.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, animations, and subtitle creation.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools for content ideation, workflow optimization, and creative development.
• Knowledge of German is an advantage but not required.
