Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Costing Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and a strong background in SAP Controlling module. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring the cost-related aspects of our business operations, ensuring accurate cost calculations, and providing valuable insights to optimize cost efficiency. This role requires a keen eye for detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in SAP Controlling functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Analysis:
- Conduct thorough cost analysis on various aspects of the business, including production, procurement, Sales & distribution. Analyze cost trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend appropriate cost optimization strategies.
- Costing Models:
- Ability to work on costing models and cost allocations across different business units. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of cost data.
- SAP Controlling Expertise:Utilize extensive knowledge of SAP Controlling module to perform cost accounting functions, such as cost center accounting, internal orders, product costing, and profitability analysis.
- Inventory Management:
- Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure accurate valuation of inventory and perform periodic inventory reconciliation and analysis.
- Auditing:Support internal and external audits related to cost accounting activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments, such as finance, supply chain, and operations, to gather relevant data, align cost accounting practices, and support decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Costing Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SAP Controlling module is essential.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or equivalent.
- Experience working in FMCG.
- Familiarity with other SAP modules and integration points.
- Knowledge of business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
