• Develop appropriate assessments, supervise, mark, and examine projects, and practical work, providing support and guidance on academic issues.
  • Teach on courses at a range of levels within the faculty; promoting skills in critical and rational thinking.
  • Ensure that course design, material and delivery are updated and comply with quality standards and regulations of the University.
  • Produce at least one HEC recognized research paper on annual basis.
  • Participate and provide input in the research of publications and journals within the department and school.
  • Act as advocates for students’ well-being, and a valuable resource for their educational advancement through student counseling.
  • Embrace new technological developments that support learning and teaching and incorporate them into best practice.
  • Identify areas where current provision is in need of revision or improvement and contribute to the planning, design and development of objectives and material.
  • Review and support the development of high quality programme content in response to student feedback and new developments in the relevant field.
  • Engage in training programmes in the University which are consistent with academic and professional needs and aspirations and those of the department.
  • Attend relevant meetings, panels and boards to contribute to decision making and develop productive working relationships across teams.
  • Any other task / job assigned by the COD/Dean.
  • MS/MPhil in the relevant discipline. Experience varies as per HEC Criterion in different fields of education.
  • Sufficient breadth and depth of experience in specialism to develop high quality teaching/learning and research programs and must have experience of research led teaching.
  • Evidence of a professional academic and research profile alongside a commitment to sustained continuous professional/academic development.
  • Must have strong English spoken and written skills as the preferred medium of communication with students is English.
  • Should have the ability to listen, engage and inspire others.
  • Possess thorough knowledge in the relevant field.
