Assist in the development of student research skills and transfer knowledge in the form of practical skills, methods and techniques
Develop research objectives and proposals for own or joint research, with the assistance of a mentor if required Conduct individual and collaborative research projects.
Write up research work for publication or other means of dissemination and seek to secure initial publications or other forms of output
Could be expected to contribute to teaching in the subject area of research and be involved in the assessment of student knowledge and supervision of projects
Undertaking special tasks and assignments as required by the institute.
Any other duties as may reasonably be required by Head of the department/Supervisor.
