Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive to join our team onsite in Model Town, Lahore. This full-time role operates on a shift from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM, with a work schedule of 5 to 6 days per week, including alternate Saturdays based on operational requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our Upwork business development efforts, focusing on securing new projects and clients primarily from the U.S. and international markets. The ideal professional will have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in Upwork bidding, with a proven ability to identify quality opportunities, craft personalized proposals, and convert leads into successful client engagements.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize both Upwork Agency and Personal profiles to maximize visibility and engagement.
- Identify relevant projects and high-quality business opportunities on the Upwork platform.
- Write and submit tailored, client-focused proposals that address specific client needs.
- Handle Connects, invitations, follow-ups, and all client communications efficiently.
- Engage with prospective clients to thoroughly understand their requirements and business objectives.
- Generate qualified leads and arrange meetings with potential clients.
- Track and analyze bidding activities, proposal responses, and conversion rates to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals that align with company services and client expectations.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned bidding, lead generation, and business development targets.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of proven experience in Upwork bidding and business development.
- Demonstrated success in generating leads or winning projects through the Upwork platform.
- Strong knowledge of Upwork’s profiles, Connects, proposals, invitations, contracts, and overall platform processes.
- Excellent written English skills with the ability to craft compelling and personalized proposals.
- Strong client communication and follow-up abilities to maintain engagement and build relationships.
- Experience working with U.S.-based or international clients is highly preferred.
- Target-driven, well-organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work onsite in Model Town, Lahore, adhering to the specified evening shift hours.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
Candidates with experience in bookkeeping, taxation, and payroll systems or software will be considered favorably. The role requires a professional who can effectively introduce themselves and articulate their relevant experience clearly and confidently.
