USA Based Solar Company is looking for an experienced Solar Design Engineer.

Only Apply if you have Excellent Communication Skills & able to work in Night Shift (7 pm till 4am ) - Bahria Town Lahore 

Basic Salary 50K - 60K 

The job responsibilities would include the following

  1. Knowledge about National Electric Code (NEC) based on city requirements and responded to the city comments in an appropriate manner.
  2. Able to Design and prepare residential plan sets including detailed electrical wire diagrams and construction drawings for PV system installation using AutoCAD.
  3. Estimate the total power (kW) generated from a potential PV solar site using the CAD model.
  4. Manage all CAD used for potential residential and commercial PV solar sites. Create plans for solar energy system development, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
  5. Prepare detailed work plans & Has knowledge in electrical design concepts
  6. Conduct engineering site audits to collect electrical, roofing, and related site information for use in the design of residential or commercial solar power systems
  7. Design or coordinate design of photovoltaic (PV) or solar thermal systems, including system components, for residential buildings.
  8. Create electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.         
  9. Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.
  10. Evaluate plans or specifications to determine technological or environmental implications.
  11. Recommend technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality, or performance.     
  12. Determine design criteria or specifications.
  13. Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.   
  14. Perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency.
  15. Create models of engineering designs or methods.     
  16. Develop standard operation procedures and quality or safety standards for solar installation work.
  17. Determine operational methods.         
  18. Create checklists for review or inspection of completed solar installation projects.
  19. Inspect finished products to locate flaws
