U.S. Legal Associate

PsychPlus, a leading private psychiatry and behavioral health organization in the U.S., is seeking a Legal Associate to join their team onsite in Karachi, Pakistan. This role involves supporting U.S. corporate entities with a focus on entity registrations, incorporations, corporate and statutory filings, governance, compliance, and ongoing maintenance. The position requires working hours from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM PKT and offers an opportunity to contribute to expanding access to high-quality mental healthcare through meaningful corporate and legal work.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage U.S. entity registrations, incorporations, and statutory filings to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate corporate records, governance documents, and entity databases to support organizational transparency and accountability.
- Support ongoing compliance activities, including annual and biennial filings for U.S. entities, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Conduct thorough legal and regulatory research related to corporate matters to provide informed guidance.
- Prepare and review corporate resolutions, agreements, and other legal documents to support corporate governance and operational needs.
- Coordinate effectively with external counsel, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth legal processes.
- Track filing deadlines and proactively manage corporate requirements to avoid any compliance lapses.

Required Qualifications
- Law degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Practical experience with U.S. entity registration, incorporation, and corporate/statutory filings is essential.
- Background in corporate secretarial, corporate legal, or compliance roles demonstrating hands-on expertise.
- Strong legal research skills and the ability to draft and review legal documentation accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in Karachi, managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
