We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join Venveo on a full-time, remote basis, working during U.S. business hours. In this role, you will craft polished, user-centered digital experiences by combining strong visual design skills with UX research, prototyping, and design system management. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality designs and ensure accurate implementation across Venveo’s digital products.

Key Responsibilities

- Interface Design: Create polished, user-centered UI designs that align with Venveo’s brand standards and design systems. Translate briefs and wireframes into production-ready visuals.

- UX Research & Validation: Conduct or support user research activities such as usability testing and heuristic evaluations. Synthesize findings to inform design decisions and identify opportunities to improve the user experience.

- Prototyping & Iteration: Develop interactive prototypes at varying levels of fidelity to communicate concepts and gather stakeholder feedback. Iterate quickly to arrive at validated design solutions.

- Design System Stewardship: Contribute to and maintain Venveo’s component library and design system to ensure consistency across product surfaces and reduce design debt over time.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align on requirements, define scope, and ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented accurately.

- Handoff & Developer Support: Prepare detailed design specifications and assets for engineering handoff. Stay available during development to address design questions and review implementations for fidelity to approved designs.

Required Qualifications

- Proven professional experience in UX/UI design with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking and strong visual craftsmanship.

- Proficiency in Figma, including component creation, auto-layout, prototyping, and design system management.

- Solid understanding of UX fundamentals such as information architecture, user flows, interaction design, and accessibility best practices.

- Experience working in cross-functional product teams alongside engineers and product managers.

- Strong written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate asynchronously and clearly present design rationale.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- You take ownership when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous, asking the right questions and making assumptions explicit to keep work moving forward.

- You maintain high standards for visual quality while remaining open to feedback and treating critique as constructive input.

- You communicate proactively across time zones, surfacing blockers early and balancing speed with thoughtful exploration of design decisions.

- You keep collaborators informed without needing prompting, ensuring smooth and effective teamwork.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means delivering digital product interfaces that are polished, user-centered, and consistent with established design standards. User flows and interaction patterns should be clear and thoughtfully designed. Prototypes effectively communicate concepts and support validation, while design system components remain consistent and well maintained. Engineering teams receive clear, accurate specifications and assets, and implemented designs closely match approved versions. Collaboration across product and engineering teams remains proactive, clear, and effective.

Typical Day

Your day will likely start by reviewing asynchronous feedback from Venveo teammates on current design files, responding with annotations or updated iterations in Figma. Mid-morning may include a brief sync with a product manager or engineer to align on upcoming feature requirements. The remainder of the day typically involves focused design work—refining user flows, producing high-fidelity screens, or building new design system components. Later, you might hand off completed specifications to developers, conduct quick usability checks on prototypes, or review developer implementations to flag discrepancies. As this role is predominantly asynchronous, clear written communication is as important as the designs themselves.

Interview Process

The selection process includes a recruiter screening, a client interview, and a final selection stage.
