Finance Assistant

Vaygo is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant with at least 2-3 years of experience in finance and accounts to join our team. The successful candidate will support the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with financial reporting. This role is ideal for a professional who is organized, analytical, and eager to contribute to the financial efficiency of the company. The Finance Assistant does not manage a team but plays a critical support role in ensuring smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records including ledger entries and bookkeeping tasks.

Process invoices promptly and accurately while ensuring compliance with company policies and vendor agreements.

Support the finance team in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries.

Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

Monitor and update financial databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Assist in budget monitoring and expense tracking to support financial planning activities.

Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and documentation.

Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, document management, and communication with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Help ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations by following established procedures.

Participate in audits by providing required documentation and information as needed.
