Assistant IT Manager

VD Group is seeking a motivated Assistant IT Manager to support the IT department in managing and maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate is either freshly graduated or has up to one year of experience in IT, with foundational knowledge in service management and network systems. Although this position does not involve managing a team, strong organizational and collaborative skills are essential to work closely with other IT staff and stakeholders. The Assistant IT Manager plays a key role in supporting daily IT activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and participating in the implementation of new IT policies and procedures. Responsibilities

Assist in the management and monitoring of IT service operations to ensure minimal downtime and effective resolution of incidents.
Support network administration tasks, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network devices and connections.
Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement IT policies and procedures aligned with company goals.
Participate in the installation and upgrade of hardware and software, ensuring compatibility and security standards.
Monitor system performance and assist in conducting periodic audits to safeguard information integrity.
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT services, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
Assist in evaluating new technologies and tools to improve IT service delivery and operational efficiency.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical problems and manage service agreements.
Support backup and disaster recovery operations to protect critical business data and applications.
