The Senior Software Engineer you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and leads on development activities. This team's focus is delivering high-quality web applications as well as defining enterprise development practices. This is a highly collaborative team that will work across teams and provide mentoring to others in the organization. Responsibilities:
- 2 years software design and development in Java and J2EE (JSP/JTL, EJB, JDBC)
- Ability to develop code for Android Application using Java and xml
- Experience with frameworks like JSF, Struts
- Experience with development and deployment of Enterprise/Web applications. (Glassfish, Tomcat, Apache)
- Experience of leading a team and working with other developers to deliver a project
- Understanding of complete software development lifecycle (waterfall, agile, etc.)
- Experience building high-performance Java systems, performance tuning, and stress and load testing
- Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases, and strong command on SQL
- Strong object-oriented analysis & programming skills
- Develop Java-based web applications
- Produce high quality code, on time and on target
- Engineering software through its complete life-cycle
- Research and understand product requirements to ensure successful beta test, product launch, etc.
- Participate in testing and system integration testing
- Be able to lead others as a team lead, project lead or technical expert
Education and Experience:
- Diploma, BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering or related fields
- Experience working with telecom systems and solutions is preferred
- Experience with agile/SCRUM methodology is an advantage
- Certifications in Java and various database technologies is an advantage
