- Verify and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial results for management decision making
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Supervise the accounts team
- Participate in financial standards setting, forecasting and budgeting.
- Provide input into department’s goal setting process
- Prepare financial statements
- Responsible for Annual tax return matters and issues
- Coordinate with internal auditors to ensure compliance of policies and procedures
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
- Liaise with our financial manager and other accountants to improve financial procedures
- WIP verification as per progress reports and contract value.
- Monitor cash related transaction i-e project funds & business advances
- Review commercial proposals,& arrangement of bid bonds/bank guarantee
- Monitor project costing & expenses as per allocated budget
- Verification of sale invoices and aging analysis for strong follow-up with clients
- Review & monitor monthly payroll related activities and final settlements of employees
- Verification of vendors payment, purchasing & recording of assets
